Our lively girls have been the subjects of literally thousands of pictures and we've learned (all too well) that you can't always guarantee the 'perfect picture'. The moment that lead to the creation of He Blinked occurred on a beautiful spring-like morning in March. It's a tradition in the Omand household to take pictures of our daughters on their Daddy's skateboard and I had one shot in mind. Of course, things didn't exactly work out as planned... I guess a two and a half year old and an 8 month old don't necessarily respond perfectly to cues of "Cheese!". Plan B was a little more likely. I just needed one good shot of each of them... Well they didn't smile - they didn't even look at me! But a few mouse-clicks later I had a beautiful (and completely scrapbook-worthy) picture. Look closely, you'll see that I took two of the pictures from the right and combined them to make this new picture of our girls. He Blinked was created to allow all families to also have this alternative means for getting that 'perfect picture'.
